Sarasota Vacation

This is the look on all of our faces the day we left for vacation!!! All Smiles!

We went down to Sarasota, Fl for 12 days- we had such a blast!! It was just Todd, myself and the girls. Days of playing in the pool, watching beautiful sunsets, putting on sunscreen ( a half hour process), building sandcastles on the beach, playing in fountains, putting on more sunscreen (& aloe), collecting shells, meeting new friends and making lots of memories. 
Mikayla loved sitting in the beach chair.

I would take a walk and rock her to sleep right near the water with the sound of the waves crashing then put her in her little sun tent and she would take a nap right out there on the beach.
Playing in the ocean. There was a storm that came through while we were there, so the waves were larger than normal.

Mikayla loved the water and the sand- yes she did eat it a couple of times, so gross. Don't know why babies do that, but they do!!

We took lots of pictures at sunset-love the way the sky looks, so pretty!!


We took the girls to this fountain park near Marina Jacks- they had a blast.
Kylie and Abby- we actually met her last year and the girls were hoping that she would be there again this year and she was, so they hung out and played every day.

Went to Coldstone for the kids and Tropical Smoothie for Todd and I after playing in the fountains.
This is outside Yoders- yummy Amish Restaurant that we went to for dinner. They are known for their pies!! 
Mikayla loved all the birds, she would always watch the Pelicans and Seagulls fly over and land either in the water or on the roof of the condo.
We love watching the sun set on the beach, so beautiful.
You know you are in Florida when you see a gator sign.

We had such a wonderful vacation, we did not want to come home. We are so thankful to Bob and Sharron for their generosity and kindness.
